Up And Coming Events

Wow! The last two weeks have had my wee little brain on overload. At work they've been feeding me so much information that I feel like my head will explode at times. I do like work though! It's been a lot of fun and I really like working with people and helping them along through their day.

Josh spoke on Sunday at church and I've heard from several people how amazingly anointed it was. Hell ya, my husbands anointed!!! He did such a good job.

This next week is a conference I've been waiting for for months now. Danny Steine and Patricia King will both be here. Two of my favorite speakers. I get to help lead worship and that will be fun too. Last year at this conference was funny because I was walking around telling everyone that I would be married by next fall...and look...I AM!!!! Patricia King even agreed and said I would be. Honestly...I think I had a hard time believing it would actually happen.

I really do love being married. I love making him yummy meals and doing the laundry. I love it so much! Bring on month two!!!

Oh yeah...one more thing...my body has been acting very strange almost for the last three weeks...I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but please be praying.

Already?

Today I started my new job at Starbucks. It was fun minus all the training that I have to get done. I have to learn all my stuff so much quicker because I have to be able to run the store by myself at the end of next week. Wow...there's a lot to learn.

It was weird because tonight Josh was the one who got home before me and was waiting for me to get off. When I got out to my car my phone was ringing and it was him. He asks, "When will be home? I'm hungry and want you to make me dinner."

I just laughed because I thought it was great that it was reversed tonight.

When I got to the house all the lights were off and I couldn't tell where he was. All of a sudden he jumped down a bunch of stairs and scared to crap out of me. After we laughed I noticed we was wearing fancy clothes and wondered what the special occasion was. He took m upstairs and set on the table were roses and dinner...all by candle light! I couldn't believe my eyes!!! He made me dinner and it was so romantic(and yummy)!!!!

It turns out, you see, to be our one month anniversary!!! I totally didn't even think about it and he had been planning it all day! Wow! Do I have the best husband or what?!!

Here is another completely amazing thing about him...He is preaching for church on Sunday!!!! He hates to be in front of people and yet he's preaching! They had asked me to do it, but I have to work so I suggested Josh, not thinking that he would and he, being the incredible man he is, said YES!

Today has been a really good day. It's also Josh's parents 25th anniversary! We have so much to look forward to.

I love being married!

A Grand Update

Well, I'm finally recovering from my jellyfish stings. It looks like they'll leave some pretty nice scares, but at least I can wear long pants again. At the Spiritual Hunger Conference someone said to me, "There are only a few people in the world who have very obscure things happen to them and...Katieann...you are one of them."

Josh got to meet Don and Christine, Bill and Beni(which Beni forgot to tell Bill that I had gotten married so he thought I was pulling his leg...until he saw the big ass rock on my finger), Michael Joyce, Chris Quilala and a few others. He told me more then once how it made his head spin how many people I introduced him to and just how many people knew me there. I, honestly, didn't think there was that many.

Anyway, I got time with Beni which was a lot of fun and she had some great wisdom and insight for me that I really needed to hear, but let's not forget the stern rebuke she gave me for speaking something over myself that I really should not be speaking. Thanks Beni.
Worship was fun. I hadn't realized how much I have missed some excellent worship. Josh loved and he thinks that Pastor Bill is just about the best speaker in the whole world(which he is)! At the end of the last night Don and Christine prayed for us and had some awesome God stuff to say. It was really encouraging and confirming for us. We felt really blessed.

I think now my only concern, if you can call it that, is feeling like we won't get to see much of each other seeing as he works 50 plus hours a week and I'll be working lots at St. Arbucks. There is the potential to have totally opposite schedules hince not getting to see much of each other. Please pray for us as we are newlyweds and all...This last week I just felt like I missed him so much because he was gone to work...such is life.

Spiritual Hunger Conference

Well, this week is the annual Spiritual Hunger Conference and this year not only will Pastor Bill be here again, but Don and Christine Potter will be doing the worship.

I'm pretty excited to see them. There are suppose to be a lot of people here so I'm not sure if we'll get any time with them. I can't wait to introduce Josh to everyone! I also think that worship as a whole just might be a little different for him.

Should be fun.

Oh yeah...Please be praying that I get a good job. I'm feeling very frustrated with the whole thing right now. There are several places that would like to hire me, but all of them either don't pay enough or the hours are totally whacked. I will be going back into Victoria's Secret to discuss a pay raise and more hours. I just don't think I want a supervisor position right now.

Please pray.

Hitting the Streets...Again.

Well...I'm currently job hunting...again. I was going to head out today, but due to the fact that I'm still severly sick, I just don't think I'll make it. I did, however, set up an interview for a nanny position here in town. First thing Tuesday morning. I so wouldn't mind working with kids again. I'll keep you updated though.

Now here is a picture of my three friends...Kayle, Priscilla, and Jon...I love them all so much!!!

Now here are some more pictures of our honeymoon. You have to realize most of these were taken from our balcony because we couldn't go anywhere...

I love being married!

So here is a picture of my husband and I on our wedding day. The wedding was so much fun and there were so many people there...I was amazed! I loved every second of the ceremony and reception and the advice I got was to look around and take it all in...I'm so glad I did! It was beautiful!

They honeymoon was really great too!...minus getting attacked by jellyfish and having to go to the doctor that didn't speak very good english. The stings ended up looking like huge burn marks on my face, arms, and legs...all over pretty much. They blistered really bad and we couldn't go swimming or sit out in the sun. It even hurt to walk because of all the poison in my leg. (the doctor wanted to give me a shot)

Those are just some of the them. The ones of my forehead and ear hurt alot too! We had alot of fun though being stuck in the room for hours at time. It truly was paradise there...Just look at some of these pictures!!!

This the view from our room and our balcony...

This is a picture of the beautiful room we had. They put roses petals on th floor and on the bed...all over the place...It was awesome!
I love my husband so much!!!!!
